Rounds this week!

Yes even though it is only a few days since my last tournament I am out and playing regularly. Monday it was Patriots Day here in the Commonwealth and that means a whole lot of people had the day off. I didn't but I could see the commute was going to be light. I took advantage of this to leave work at 4pm and get up to Topsfield by 5PM. There I got a round in at Pye Brook. It was breezy but temps were in the 60s and the course was dry and playable. Shot a 58 which is great including a shortened 19th. I started the hole on the road because there is now a soccer field back there. Still only managed a four on the hole missing the 25 foot putt.
Yesterday both the girls in my life were off doing things so I headed out to Devens for some evening discgolf. I played two round rather quickly and played well shooting a 56 and a 56. These scores are only 1 off my best there and I have to say it felt great to erase my middlin play in the tournament. I have been having trouble with hole 17, what is normally a makable two try most times has been a beast full of trees for me lately.
