Wow! season is so done for me...
I really ran out of steam at the end of the year. As the finals approached I was down on my game and just going through the motions. The big goal of earning enough points to qualify to play in the Worlds next year accomplished I was just done with competitive play. I still showed up but just was not very happy, I wasn't really having much fun. So much so that I decided to skip the finals. I had the excuse of some pressing work things but probably could have fit it in. I just did not want to make one more trip to another course I don't play well on to come in 6th or so. I have not thrown a disc since that decision and although recently I have thought about playing a round I have not gotten out or missed it.
I started some weight training to try to counter the elbow issues I had this year and will continue to stay in shape. Next season right now the plan is to practice more and do less tournaments. I really have to think about which 5 or six I want to play. I want them to be special and enjoyable. I will also play the worlds for the experience.
Good year though. There are a lot of great guys playing in the Adv. Masters and I really enjoyed the hanging out and competing. That's all for this year. --Eddie
