Middletown Park MD.
Last Friday Joy and I traveled to Maryland to visit her new college in Emmitsburg Maryland, Mount St. Mary's. In the process on Friday we were able to head over to Middletown park for a round of disc golf. I played while Joy watched and walked. The course for the most part is a giant field and not really very interesting. The first twelve holes are all field with a few trees mixed in and then the rest play around some growth but still are not challenging except for a shot here or there. The blue course does seem to have some distance to it, but by no means is it to be considered long. It does challenge in that you have very few landmarks making upshot tough to judge. I shot a 59 but could have not made a few silly throws and gotten a 55, but it is what it is. The day was hot in the mid 90s and while playing a storm line blew through creating a windy mess for my putting and approach game. In the back nine I found a couple unmarked discs I left in the practice basket for whom ever finds them.
