Doubles practice for Minuteman Classic

Joy and her friend J.J. are playing as doubles partners at this year's Minuteman Classic at Borderland State Park in Easton Massachusetts on March 15th. So we headed down for a round. It was a snowy/rainy but it cleared up by 3pm when we arrived. Brian curtis was there so we decided to practice by playing what else? doubles.
We played on the winter course, blue tees to white baskets on the odd hills, white tees to blue baskets on the even holes except white to white on hole two. Brian and I played really well shooting a 51. Brian has one of the sweetest forehand shots I have seen. Joy and J.J. were good and JJ who has not played much really improved by the back nine. They shot a 71.
So Saturday I will play with someone who has only been playing for a year and I hope we are at least competetive.
