Waiting for the Spring
There are a lot of die hard disc golfers who play all through the winter. I am not one of them. Sure on an occasion I may participate in an Ice bowl for charity but in general when the snow lands I am done until it melts. It is a penalty of living in a northern climate. So here we are in the midst of a very snowy and cold winter, it started in November with low temps and it has snowed at least a half dozen times in the last month and a half. Since I have been battling tennis elbow no playing is a good thing, but today I want to throw. I won't, but boy I want to feel that release, watch that flight and hear the sound of disc hitting chains.
I have already made a list of all the tournaments within 120 miles of my house for next season and hope to have a fun filled season with the great group of New England players I see each year. Stay warm and hope for spring.
